With this paperweight, a veil of blue glass and several color bits are applied over a coating of white glass creating a lace effect and a Delft China look under normal room lighting. The core of this paperweight is clear glass allowing the piece to take on the appearance of a glowing orb when placed on a lighted base in a dimly lit room. The visual texture of the colored glass on the surface of this piece creates an effect that is quite different than what more people expect. The approximate size of the paperweight is 2 ½” . Large sizes can be made on special order.
